MIAMI FLORIDA'S YOISLANDY "CUBA" IZQUIERDO (6-0) - READY TO DO DAMAGE IN HIS UFC DEBUT THIS SATURDAY IN SWEDEN

The UFC is headed to Stolkhom, Sweden for UFC on Fuel 2 and Miami, Florida's Yoislandy "CUBA" Izquierdo has earned himself a spot on the prelim fight card.  Izquierdo is currently 6-0.  In his last fight he defeated then 8-0 Patrick Cenoble via TKO for the Championship Fighting Alliance and became the CFA Lightweight Champion. Born in Havana, Cuba, the 28 year old Izquierdo comes from a background of Karate and SanShou. In 2008, after his reign as a six time Cuban National Champion, Izquierdo came to the US. Upon his arrival in Florida, the obvious next step for him was mixed martial arts.

Barely two years into his pro mma career, Izquierdo remains undefeated after six fights. His wins include defeats over; Joe Cancel via submission, Michael Deems vio TKO, Alejandro Gomez via unanimous decision, Jayson Jones via unanimous decision, Chris Garcia via TKO and Patrick Cenoble via TKO.

UFC on Fuel 2 is set to go off this Saturday, April 14th. Izquierdo in his UFC debut will face Reza "Mad Dog" Madadi. Madadi, also in his UFC debut, enters the octagon with a record of 11-2.  Madadi comes from a wrestling background and although he has two losses he has more than double the cage experience of the undefeated Izquierdo. However, Izquierdo is no novice when it comes to the heat of battle as we know from his SanShou record in Cuba. We have seen time and time again a fighter with less cage time upset a seasoned opponent and Miami's Izquierdo also has what it takes to mangle Madadi.
