There are a lot of good MMA schools in J-Ville...but how about pure BJJ???

There is a partial list on the site with a lost of schools. Link up top Mixed Martial Art Schools. You posted this months ago so you probably found a place by now. Where are you training at?

It's cool to see that there are still people keeping it real looking for a "BJJ school" and not the "smorgasbord buffet's" that pop up.

I attend Gracie Barra South Jax. You're right..there are a bunch of "MMA" schools around but I wanted to do BJJ and have no interest in sport fighting or MMA. I don't need to prove anything to myself or anyone by parading around saying I train MMA or whatever "Caged" cool guy poser attitude some people sport.

I enjoy BJJ...I enjoy ad have been a fan of MMA all they way back to Mecca Vale Tudo events in...well if your old school..you kon were. :D

I've ran into those guys "Im a mma fighter I do UFC" Ha! How long have you been training? Do they do self defense at GB too? Street defense?

Been training off and on for a few when I was in the Corps and now on a more consistent basis being a civilian  8) Yes we do the full curriculum of self defense as well as learn all the fundamentals. There are many branches off of that but first we must learn and build a solid foundation before we start to build upwards or surely our building will fall.
Or at least that's my opinion LOL.

I just seen a BJJ gym of Hodges I think it was called Focus and was a affiliate using Daniel Moraes name. I am going to check it out when my tattoo heals.

Good peeps there at Focus from what I gathered so far. Never popped in but met the owner a couple times at a couple tourneys. Still planning to stop in and say hi too.
