Dos Santos vs Mir
« on: May 26, 2012, 11:39:21 PM »

I was rootin' for Mir even though I knew he wasn't going to win. 2nd round TKO.

My boy Big Roy won. I called that one.

Dan Hardy won which is good. He needed too.

Sturve is getting better and better.

Miller choked. Surprise surprise.

The rest of the fights I could have cared less about.

Congratz to Dos Santos for retaining his title. Good show!

i didnt get home til 2 am and i am glad the fights all ended quickly cause it only took an hour to watch them and i had to be at work at 8, but damn mir pissed me off.  he looked flat footed and overweight compared to recent fights.  he looked flabby and after one unsuccessful takedown attempt he decided to kick box him.  i am happy bout Nelson winning and Struve winning.  i wish cain had a lost as well.

I wanted Mir too. He only attempted 1 takedown. Don't know what his deal was. I think he felt he couldn't take him down. He said after the fight that DS was hard to take down and so that forced him to have to fight DS's fight.

I think the ref stopped it early too. He ran when Mir was down. Then when he saw he wasn't getting right back up. He went back over and hammer fisted him once in the face but he wasn't crowding or on top of him. He was doing like a scared chick reaching far out to kill a roach. Ref should have waited a couple seconds to see what happen.

I think it was stopped early too, but mir rolled the wrong way at the end and it looked like he didn't know where he was.  Thats probably why it was stopped.  Had he rolled the other way it might of went a little longer.
